A red ball is left on the very edge of the pocket by a player. The opponent then comes to the table to take his shot but the red ball "falls" into the pocket before he strikes the cue ball. Is that considered to be a foul? If so against whom is the point given? Finally my colleague tells me that he heard on a TV programme that the red ball is replaced - I think not - and if it is where is it put? As far as I ama ware red balls are never re-spotted - is that correct? |
